I haven't fallen off the planet, but I have been sucked in to the black hole of geneology. I was just going to look up a couple of relatives on my mother's side, and it grew and grew and grew. How can you not smile when you find out you had a 5-times-great-grandmother named
"Cindarilla." And a way-back-there-times grandfather from Liverpool known only as "Sea Captain Pearl." I mean, c'mon now, this is some good stuff.

Okay, I'm jealous. Yours are WAY better and funnier than any of mine are. Though I did have a few with virtually unpronounceable Biblical names.
