In My Own Little Corner, In My Own Little House

I am so happy to be home again. For the past eight days I have been living in a hospital room while my dear daughter is recuperating from her diverticulitis surgery. All went well and she is home now, hopefully on the way to a full recovery and being able to eat like a normal person again. The one thing we both had to laugh at though was how dependent we were on all our electronics. God forbid we should be conscious and not in contact with the outside world. So there were two chargers plugged in at all times with either iPads, iPods, iTouches or iPhones attached. I-I-I-I-I, when did this become normal life?
