Got back from Vidcon down in Tampa yesterday afternoon. As always had the best time of any con I go to. How such a teensy small con can be so much fun I don't know but it never fails. The vogon prose was hysterical, even though we missed our jessebee being there to read it with her famously straight face. Mark filled in as reader and his interpretation was 'unique' to say the least. "Yah, dot,dot,dot" is the new catchphrase that must go on a teeshirt. It's not quite up there with "unctiously like a waterfall" but it's pretty darn close.
We checked out two hotels for next year and one of them came out as a heavy favorite. Hate it that we're leaving the Crowne Plaza after all these years, but as long as the same crowd toddles on over to the new place I'm sure we'll all adjust. We got spoiled though, having the con suite and the panel rooms all next to each other. Not gonna find that in another hotel. As long as Kendall remains King of the Con Suite we can survive anywhere. Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate...
